Liverpool are reportedly ready to offer Scottish winger Ben Doak as a makeweight to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace this summer. According to , Palace are keen on signing Doak this summer after his impressive performance in the Championship last season, while on loan with Middlesbrough. He scored three goals and provided seven assists as Boro finished 10th in the second division.

Despite the FA Cup winners' interest in Doak, Liverpool might find it difficult to include the winger in any deal for Guehi, who is rated by his club at £50 million ($68m). The England international is entering the final 12 months of his existing deal and will be willing to run down his contract if he is not sold this summer.
